Ceremony to Honor Tehran’s Veteran Quran Activists
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 19th edition of a ceremony dubbed ‘A Lifetime with Quran’ will be held here in the Iranian capital on Friday
The city’s veteran Quran activists are honored at the event, which is held by the Quran Cultural Center in cooperation with Tehran Municipality’s Cultural and Art Organization.
The Quranic achievements and services of six veteran Quran activists will be appreciated at this year’s ceremony.
It will be organized in person with the observation of the health protocols.
A limited number of the city’s Quranic figures and officials will attend the Friday event.
“A Lifetime with the Quran” ceremony is annually held in mid-Ramadan, which marks the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS).
Its 19th edition had been slated for 2020 but was postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
